1. Licence grant
Subject to payment and compliance with these terms, NovaQuant grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use the compiled NovaQuant GoldEdge software for the licence term and number of MT5 accounts stated in your order confirmation.
2. Ownership
NovaQuant GoldEdge is licensed, not sold. NovaQuant and its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the software, branding, documentation and updates. No source-code right or ownership interest is transferred.
3. Permitted use
- Use the software on your own authorised MT5 account or accounts within the purchased allowance.
- Create reasonable backup copies for your own recovery purposes.
- Use Strategy Tester and demo accounts to evaluate compatibility and risk.
4. Restrictions
You must not:
- sell, sublicense, rent, lend, share, publish or distribute the software or licence key;
- circumvent activation, account limits or technical protection;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except to the narrow extent applicable law expressly permits and does not allow that right to be excluded;
- remove NovaQuant notices or falsely present the software as your own;
- use the software to provide an unauthorised managed-account, copying or resale service; or
- use it unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights.
5. Activation and account changes
Activation may use an order reference, licence key and MT5 account identifier. A legitimate activation problem will be investigated and, where appropriate, corrected or reissued. Account-transfer or reset allowances are those stated at checkout or in your order confirmation.
6. Updates and support
Any update or support period included with the purchase is stated at checkout. We may issue corrections or compatibility updates, but do not promise that every future broker, MT5 build, operating system or symbol specification will remain supported indefinitely unless the order expressly says so.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for settings, broker selection, account permissions, capital allocation, monitoring and deciding whether to trade. You must keep credentials secure and must not send broker passwords, private wallet keys or seed phrases to NovaQuant support.
8. No trading warranty
The licence permits use of software; it does not warrant a profit, particular drawdown, trade frequency, recovery, uninterrupted execution or fitness for your financial objectives. See the Risk Disclosure.
9. Termination
The licence ends when its stated term expires or if you materially breach these restrictions. On termination, stop using and delete the software. Mandatory consumer remedies and provisions intended to survive termination remain unaffected.
